BSFL FAQ: DDP Quote & Pricing

What is included in your DDP quote? Our DDP quote covers product cost, export documentation, international freight, US import duties, customs clearance fees, and inland delivery to your facility. One number, fully landed.
How do I request a BSFL DDP quote? Submit your inquiry through our Contact page. Tell us the product, estimated monthly volume, and destination port. We'll respond with a fully itemized DDP quote within 48 business hours.
Do you offer FOB or CIF pricing as well? Yes. While DDP is our specialty, we can quote FOB or CIF if your logistics team prefers to manage US-side freight and customs independently.
How long is your DDP quote valid? Pricing is subject to freight and commodity market conditions. We indicate the validity period on every quote — typically 7–14 days.

Samples

Can I request a product sample before placing an order? Yes. We dispatch samples within 7-14 business days of quote confirmation. Every sample ships with a full Certificate of Analysis (COA).
What sample sizes are available? Standard samples are 500g–1kg per product. Larger evaluation quantities can be arranged — contact us to discuss.

Products & Specifications

What BSFL and mealworm products do you supply? We supply six products：Dried BSFL (Whole), Defatted BSFL Meal, BSFL Oil, Dried Mealworms (Whole), Defatted Mealworm Powder, and Mealworm Oil. Full specs and COA available on request.
What protein levels can I expect? Defatted BSFL Meal: 45–50% crude protein. Defatted Mealworm Powder: 65–70% crude protein. Dried BSFL (Whole): 40–42%. Dried Mealworms (Whole): 48–52%.
Can you supply custom specifications or private label packaging? Contact us to discuss your requirements. We work with buyers on specification adjustments and OEM/private label arrangements where volume supports it.

Import Compliance & Documentation

Is BSFL approved for use in US animal feed? Yes. BSFL meal is approved as an ingredient in poultry, swine, and aquaculture feed under AAFCO and applicable USDA guidelines.
What compliance documentation do you provide? Every shipment includes COA, phytosanitary certificate, FDA prior notice filing confirmation, and customs entry documentation. Additional documentation available on request.
